Vatorex

Vatorex is a Swiss start-up committed to creating innovative and ecological solutions for the beekeeping community, to enable healthier bees and a sustainable planet.
Founded by Pascal and Willi Brunner; a biologist and beekeeper with more than 50 years of experience, the project began as an effective and eco-friendly way to protect honey bees from the parasitic varroa mite-the primary cause of colony collapse around the globe. Since then, the Vatorex suite of beekeeping technology has grown to include hive management and monitoring solutions.
Central to Vatorex international expansion and market development, is the IP strategy. Vatorex currently holds patents and trade secrets which protect Vatorex technological innovations, while registered trademarks enable the Vatorex brand to gain recognition.
Vatorex has been awarded some of Europe’s most important start-up prizes, such as Venture Kick, De Vigier, Swiss Innovation Challenge and the H2020 grant from the EU Commission. The team consists of 9 employees, in operational, development, marketing and sales positions.
