Each partner has a well-defined role in the project, the contribution of each being paramount for IP-we drive SMEs and start-ups in the EU landscape.

The consortium aims to improve the access to funding, as well as to diversify the available sources and stimulate collaboration among stakeholders to identify synergies and business angels or venture capitals to enhance the co-investments. Likewise, the involvement of public authorities’ representative provides stability of the SMEs and Start-UPs through their national and regional programs aligned with the Smart Specialization.

bwcon is the project coordinator and, besides the financial and project management of the project, supports community members to assess their investment readiness and will introduce them to a pool of EU investors through the Venture Development Platform.

Iceberg+ is setting up an EU-wide network of partners and helps start-ups and SMEs to find partners and public funding for market-driven innovation projects allowing them to exploit their technologies.

Innova is strongly involved in the benchmarking process of Innovation and IP management methodologies and tools. Also, will pave the way towards a self-sustainable support program.

Bugnion, with its expertise in working with over 8000 companies on IPs, contributes to designing the methodologies to support the IP-driven Start-ups and SMEs in leveraging their IP strategy, easing their access to funding, as well as providing tailor made IP management and exploitation services.

CNRS Innovation helps start-ups and SMEs to scale-up by leveraging IP as a stepping stone of their overall business development and access to funding strategy.

Aster Capital develops methodologies to support the hyper-growth of IP-driven SMEs and start-ups, leveraging their experience in managing over 250 million (E) in several funds.

Austrian Institute for SME Research is investigating how SMEs and start-ups can reinforce and leverage their IP as an accelerator of growth through benchmarking actions.

BCR offers support to hyper-growth of IP-driven SMEs and start-ups by facilitating access to equity and debt funding as one of Romania’s most resilient banks.
